We are not kids anymore, but we are always longing for the coming holiday. For honey, the whole year is like Christmas. In the next week after the last Christmas, he was singing the song waiting for the next Christmas. I tell you a secret why we are expecting holidays so much. This week, two Christian came to our house when just I was at home. One was an old white lady; one was a young black lady. I opened the door. I told them that I do not believe any religion. Then they just ask where I came from and what I am doing. When I told them that I am Chinese and just moved to this area recently, it seems that the China thing gave them motivation to grab and invite me into their religion. They talked about the big earth quake happen in China. And they just made the relation or connection between the earthquake and their god.

When honey came back, he laughed at me. He said I put the shoe in the other foot now because the ladies are going to come back next week.

When I went to university, I studied Japanese. One of the teachers was an old Japanese man who was a principal of an elementary school in Japan. I think we only paid for watching TV shows, not boring commercials. The worst thing, the commercials say bad thing about each other, for example the Claritin says it is better than the other thing (zyrtec?), and the other thing says it is better than the Claritin. which the hell is better?

When the kids came to mom’s house for trick and treat, I was supposed to hand them candy. But for some reason, I was afraid to see how funny or how scary their costumes were, I did not go out. This made honey go out and hand them candy and said I was useless.
I think, all the festivals are mainly for children. To enjoy the festivals, there are two things, the spirit or the mood and the food. Halloween is the best time for children to enjoy the imagination
Some days, we bought our first pumpkin in NY. I cooked it. It was cooked with pork for a long time. But honey said it tasted like pork, though he just wanted to taste the pumpkin. We moved into the house for more than two months now. We found that there are much more things to do living in a house than in an apartment. For example, the grass in the backyard and front yard is thick now. We still did not cut it once yet. On the grass the fallen leaves are covering.

And soon it will be winter. We already experienced the big snow here. Last year, we only need to clear the car. This year we have to do everything by ourselves. It is a big thing to clean the road.
