nice boots

For two reasons, I got work boots. The first reason is that wherever you go in America, it is like indigenous forests. There are many kinds of animal there. Recently I am afraid of snakes. If I want to get close to the bushes or something, I have to my boots. Otherwise I would feel very dangerous.
The other reason is that half of the year here is in snow season. It is always slippery out there. Once you fall down, probably you will hurt your ankles, your butt or any other part of your body. For such reason, I think, it is really a good idea to put on water-proof and grease resistance boots.

the first trip to NYC (5)—retaking my ID photo

In Japan, there were automatic photo machines everywhere, you can get any ID photos taken in such machine. I used that for renewing passport in Japan, for getting visa to come to USA. I could not understand why the dumb ass here said NG to my photos.

I went to the first floor. There was a photo room in the corner. And there was a long line of people waiting for taking pictures. I never saw such things in other places of the world.

I could not see what was in the room because there were so many people in front of me. After about one hour, finally I got to know what was in the room. There was a goofy lady in the room taking pictures for everybody using a normal camera. And the camera was connected to some simple print out machine. The fee was $8 for 4 pieces. That was expensive than I had in my life.

Abso-fucking-lutely they are having great business there. Almost everybody were retaking ID photos. I felt that they were just like the meanest bloodsucker in the world, once they smell some blood, they were going to suck into your bones.
