news

Recently not so much news is real news. Some of the news is just rumor that the reporter heard from somebody. So you can hear about that yesterday China asked the Japan Self-Defense Forces to help the earthquake relief. And then today you can hear about that Chinese spokesman deny that. And then in the next day you can hear about that Japanese hope that Chinese can ask Japan Self-Defense Forces to go there.

Not so much news is real news anymore. All of them are just gossip. Not so many reporters are real reporter anymore. All of them are just gossip spreader.

New Jersey

Posted on June 3rd, 2008 in Arts & Humanities, Entertainment by jiajun925

It is always good to have some new experience. Experience is one kind of wealth of our life.
New Jersey is one of the neighbor states of New York. Before we came to New York, honey visited New Jersey for one time. He told me that it is a beautiful city. When he stood in the office of some institute, he could see New York City in the other side of the river. New Jersey almost became our next destination after we came back from Japan. I like history very much. I know that New Jersey is a state of the east-central United States on the Atlantic Ocean. It was admitted as one of the original Thirteen Colonies in 1787. The region was settled by Dutch and Swedish colonists in the 1620’s and 1630’s, was ceded to the English as part of New Netherlands in 1664, and became a royal province in 1702. The colony was strategically important in the American Revolution and was the site of a number of major battles, including the engagements at Trenton, Princeton, and Monmouth. Trenton is the capital and Newark the largest city.
I am going to visit New Jersey. I am looking for Things to do in New Jersey. It is good to stay there for a couple nights in theWildwood nj motels. And the great news is that on-July 7th, 14th and 21st - Magic Mondays - Radio Disney’s hottest musical artists will appear live on Morey’s Piers. These FREE concerts will take place at the Radio Disney stage next to the Giant Ferris Wheel on Morey’s Mariner’s Landing pier. Show times are scheduled for 1 pm and 4 pm.
It is decided. We will go to New Jersey.

driving

Posted on June 3rd, 2008 in Arts & Humanities, Recreation & Sports, Society & Culture by jiajun925

I went for driving two times now. The main problem is that I felt that my brain, feet and hands were controlled by different person. Once I stepped on the gas, I just forgot I was speeding up. I sped up very quickly. Many times it was over 60. The break was not so sensitive compared to the gas. I thought I was stopping but I was still going. It is really difficult.

After I started learning driving, I got to know that it is really dangerous to stand near to the road where there is car. You would not know what is going to happen in the next second.

mailman

Posted on June 3rd, 2008 in Arts & Humanities, Recreation & Sports, Society & Culture by jiajun925

The mailman always come in time when we have some mail. So what am I going to complain about?

Their way of sending the mail is really stupid. Exactly it is the way of putting the mail into the mail box, or the way of putting the mail in front of your box.

I ordered a book named “Java How to Program (6th Edition) (How to Program (Deitel)) (Paperback)” from internet. The book has more than 1560 pages and one CD with it. With such number it is really a heavy and thick book. Obviously it is difficult to push into the mailbox. But it was put into the mailbox. It took me 10 minutes to get the book out. And when I opened the package, all the pages were rolled up and the CD was broken. I was wondering why the mailman was so dumb dumb.

have a wonderful holiday!

I was thinking about that if human really want to be nice to each other, there is no need for passport or visas. A lot of time we really get annoyed by the procedure of applying for the passport and visas. Since the world is becoming a global village, why it needs customs?
We are talking about how great Europe is. If you are an Italian, you can go to other European counties without going through all the annoying time in the embassy. You can just get on the European river cruises and enjoy your wonderful holidays as you want.
If you have some baggage, you can just put them in the TravelStore, which works with all the major European river cruise companies, those in Asia and the USA, as well as several barge operators, and can arrange the right river cruise or barge vacation for you.

efficiency in USA

Posted on June 3rd, 2008 in Arts & Humanities, life by jiajun925

After I came to usa, I was doubting the efficiency or office productivity very much.

First you can see people having private calls while they are working, which is good for their family and friends but not good for the work.

And then, after you submit something to some place, it needs a long time to get your result back.

Before you do something, when you try to get some information from them, it takes one gazillion years to get reply if you inquired by email, before you get the right person to talk with, your call would be sent to the Pacific to take a bath if you try to call somebody.

Because China and USA share the  Pacific, they are just in different sides of the ocean, most of the government office productivity is the same, slow and sucks.
