ice cream

You know NY is a cold place. The first time when we arrived in NY, we saw there were some ice cream shop. we thought that is incredible. It is cold here, do you want eat ice cream. If you ask me such question, my answer would be 200% NO. But other people do. It seems that in honey’s company, they have ice cream machine there. People ask him if he had his ice cream yet.

From a long time ago, we already heard the ice cream car come to the apartment for sometimes. If the world is full of people like me, the ice cream industry is going to crash. But it seems that nobody is like me.

sunshine

In New York, even when you feel cold, but a lot of time you feel it is too bright. We really need window blinds provided by NoBrainerBlinds. You know I am sitting near the window. And I have my desk near the window too. I put my computer on the desk. It is very nice to sit near the window and enjoy the warmness. But the only that bothers me a little is that the sunshine was pushed into and directly to my screen. We have window blinds now. Anyway I could not cover the beam of sunshine that goes directly to my computer. We’d better get some new ones and install that by ourselves.

The weather in NY

I am still feeling cold. Until last week I still used heater. But in the last weekend, I heard that some people in the apartment started using air conditioner.

Honey told me, in FL, when it gets to 6o or 70 degree, people start using heater. Maybe in NY, when it gets to 60 or 70 degree, people start using air conditioner. crazy, crazy.

You know, when we were in Japan, no matter how hot it is, you could not turn on the air conditioner until July. And you could not turn on the heater until November no matter how cold it is.

credit cards admirer

Posted on May 27th, 2008 in Business & Economy by jiajun925

Credit card is really convenient. I would recommend you to visit the credit card review and get your own credit cards now.
When I was in China, we did not have wallet. Normally we just put the money in the pockets. When you took the paper currency, it just looked like garbage. Sometime you could really smell the stinky smell from that. Having credit cards has the convenience that you need not touch the money that thousands of people touched. First it is sanitary.
The second convenience of credit cards is portable. Normally if you have some paper currency in your wallet or pocket, it takes so much space of your body. In China, if you get on the bus and have a big bump (wallet) in your pocket, somebody was going to cut your pocket and take your wallet away without discussing with you.
The third convenience of credit cards is security. If it was some paper currency lost, you would never get it back. But if it was credit cards, and you noticed the danger in time, you could call the credit cards company to stop dealing with some doubtful transactions. Also you could track every detail of the transactions through your credit cards.
Another amazing thing for me is that when we use the credit cards to buy something, we always could get some points back. How sweet it is.

Mars lander completes first day on Red Planet

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — Fresh images sent back by NASA’s Phoenix Mars Lander during its first full day operating in the Martian northern polar region showed most of its science instruments in good health, mission scientists said.

when I heard Mars lander completes first day on Red Planet, I felt so exciting. And then I came up with the question of how the Phoenix Mars Lander sends pictures back. Honey said it is by satellite. I said that you would got bad pictures from China even when the weather was not so good, how we can get good pictures back from Mars.

And then I was eager to know what Mars really is. Is there life there? or was? Or it was alive but it was dead now?

Do not use medicine randomly

Posted on May 27th, 2008 in health, life by jiajun925

I always ask the people around me not to use medicine randomly or so frequently. When we got sick, it is better to use medicine. But do not think medicine just as some candy, some of those will have side effect. If you take some medicine too much, the medicine will stop working on your body. Did you hear about heart defibrillators? Unlike many other medical conditions, survival from SCA, depends on immediate intervention by bystanders. These individuals are typically laypersons with no medical training who lack an understanding about their vital role in determining whether people who experience SCA live or die.
