Right before graduation, I had to go to Tian’anmen Square by myself because I had to apply for my passport from the Beijing city police office, which is near to Tian’anmen Square.
Although I had never been to Tian’anmen Square alone, this time I had to deal with the police man in the #1 city of China. Be honest, I was little scared.
I went to the Tian’anmen Square, there are so many exits from the subway. When I was out from the subway, I found myself was in the middle of the square. The square was so huge.
I had to get to the police office in time, otherwise the door would be closed. I asked some homeward-bound rural laborers about which direction the police office was. I thought, they were from outside of Beijing, they should be kind to me. But not, They told me it was faraway. They said if I would pay them, they would bring me there.
I paid, they brought me there. It was 500 meters away from the spot I asked them.
Then the classmates laughed at me.
