In the beginning of 2004, I went to Tianjin for interview in Tianjin ForeignStudents University. The interview isn't worth while anything. You can say once a Chinese got on a position that deals with people, he or she is going to think as hiring a maid for her/his own house.

After the interview, I had to go to Beijing to apply for the Ph.D test in Beijing University of Technology. (In the end, I passed the test and got an A for the interview in Beijing University of Technology, I could not enter the University because the teacher did not like my literature background.)

I could have taken the train if I did not have the heavy suitcase. It is impossible for me to go to buy ticket and go up and down the stairs in the station to get into the train.

So I took taxi with other 3 people in one taxi with 50 RMB. Before I got into the taxi, the driver said he knew everything. After I went into the taxi, then he asked me which road the Beijing University of Technology is on. That was my first to go to that university.  I did not know which road. In the end, the driver just kicked me off the taxi in the middle of the traffic.

My hometown belongs to the central China. Before I went to Beijing, people were building a road near to the railway. At that time, it did not get black-topped.

when I was in Beijing, I went back hometown for two times. I had not seen the road get black-topped. It just became so rugged because the rain flushed the mud away.

After graduation, I went to Japan.  During that, I went back to hometown. The road just became more and more rugged.

The last time when I went back to my hometown, it was 10 years later after I went to Beijing.

We hardly could see the road anymore.
