Theft in China

Posted on April 15th, 2008 in Nature, Society & Culture, life, travel by jiajun925

Once our house in my hometown suffered theft. The theft cut the wood window and went into the house and took away the 14 hens. That was a big hurt. We knew only the villager did know how to get into the house.

In China, when you looked at the building, you could see all the windows were built like jails. There were theftproof windows or doors even in the 5th or 6th floor.

But even with theftproof stuff, theft still got into people’s house. Today when I went out for walking, some Chinese man from Xi’an told me that somebody’s coffin was stolen in Xi’an.

Hot Air Balloon

When I lived in the dormitory in Hiroshima of Japan, I dreamed about taking Hot Air Balloon Rides.
It was a very beautiful place. The dormitory was right in the mountain. In the morning when I woke up I could see the sunshine coming to my bed directly. I could hear the birds singing. It was very comfortable of enjoying the nature in such environment.
One day, when I still was in the bed, I heard something big sound coming closer and closer. I was wondering what it was. I got up and looked outside from the window. I saw Hot Air Balloon coming from the left side of the mountain. It was so beautiful under the morning shine.

........What I am thinking about from above..........

--about cheongsam

Almost 90% of the western people think cheongsam is the national dress for Chinese. But actually that was the clothes that were put on by the people of Qing dynasty. Many Japanese girls would ask me, "what do you put on? how many cheongsams do you have?"

There are people who would think, Chinese dress copied the kimono.

When western people see jiaozi, they think that the whole people in China eat that.

When we were in Japan, some people asked us "there is gyouza (Chinese jiaozi) in China?" or "are there chopsticks in China? "

when they saw the bicycles in China, and then they would ask you "there were no cars in China?"

Maybe the world is falling behind China.

Because you never… haha

Posted on April 15th, 2008 in health by jiajun925

Last weekend we went to Asian market again, I tried to get some Chinese herbs. Honey asked me what I was looking for. You know the name for the Chinese herbs are so difficult to explain to some non-Chinese people. Every time I just tell him that was dingdong stronger medicine. But this time, it did not work, he was upset and said, “You always said it could make it stronger, but I never felt it stronger.” I said, “Because you never ate that for me, haha.”
There was no western people who could understand herbs. So if you are going to find testosterone enhancers, as well as being supplement retailers the staff at Supplements.net prides themselves on the understanding and practice of using dietary supplements.

........What I am thinking about from above..........

After they get rid of the discrimination between local province and Beijing, the discrimination between city and countryside, the difference between officials and normal citizens, the whole education level of the country will be better.

It is not the right way to improve the education level by just charging the lower score students and the loser of the test higher tuition fee and then let them go college.

Some time people are very disappointed about what the government is doing and cheating.

fishing

Posted on April 15th, 2008 in Entertainment, life, travel by jiajun925

When I was a little, I went to fishing for one time with my second brother. That was a poor time, we hope we could bring some back for dinner. We bought a cheap hook and made the pole by ourselves with a small bamboo stick. Then in the very hot noon of the summer, we went to the pond near our house. My brother told me, fishing needed patience, if you were hurrying up of catching the fish, you would never get it. I listened to him very well. We put half of an earthworm on the hook, and then throw out the pole. We sat on the bank and waited for some delicious coming out to eat the earthworm.
After a long time, I saw the buoy finally moved. My brother said, wait for another second. So another second, and then we pulled it out quickly, there was a finger size fish on the hook. I was so happy we got one. I wanted to put it in the bowl with water, my brother told me, that kind of fish could not live any longer, because the character of the fish that when it got caught, the fish would feel so mad and kill itself. I did not where my brother got such knowledge.
That was the only time I went for fishing. It was a good memory. If there is a chance, I’d like go for fishing again. Do you like fishing? There is Charleston Fishing Guide to help you. You can have a look of the Charleston Fishing Charters and when and where is the best for you.
