National Rodeo Finals tickets

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in Entertainment, internet, life, travel by jiajun925

When I watch National Finals Rodeo on TV, I always feel so exciting. When I have chance, I will try hard to get National Rodeo Finals tickets.
It always reminds me of my childhood with my bulls.
I am from a poor village of China. The name is Baimu village, the meaning of which is 100 acres field. At that time, the main tools were bulls and buffaloes. Of course, the villagers are one kind of the main labor too. And it is right and proper for the kids to take care of the bulls.
In my house, we had a very strong bull one time. He liked fighting with other bull so much that he could choose any cow he liked to pick up on.
Always in the village, the kids went out to feed the bulls together in the afternoon. Feeding means bringing the bulls to the mountain and letting the bulls eat the fresh grass by themselves.
Just like human, when bulls come together, they would fight to show who the boss was and who had the right to have sex with the females.
But the arena in our village was not on a flat and wide place. It was on the mountain where if you stepped on a wrong place, you could lose your life. So did the bulls.
When the bulls were fighting, the audience was the kids. Some kids would yell “go ahead, go ahead, my bull” with so exciting voice. Some kids would yell “stop, stop, your stupid bull” with so worried voice. If some bull got hurt, that was their tools to work in the field. Some time the bull was much important than their main men in the family.

when I was a kid — shortsighted

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in life by jiajun925

I was shortsighted when I was in the fifth grade of elementary school. One possible reason could be malnutrition. Another possible reason could be that I hid in some dark place and read novels too much.

because of my strict my mom, I could not read something I liked in some good place, eg, under the light, or near the daylight. Anyway I had to run away to someplace she could not see me.

Some time, I just stayed in the dirty toilet reading something as long as I could, or until I got called for many times.

In the fifth grade, I could not see the words in blackboard so well. At that time, nobody put on glasses. The only people who had glasses on was the old man in the school.

I asked my mom to buy glassed for me. She first laughed at me, haha, you put on glasses?? only old man put on glasses!!

I knew there was no reality and no money for me to put on glasses.

digital photo frame

Once when I went for shopping, I found a nice thing. It was digital photo frames.
In the old times, people like to put picture in frames and then use that to design their rooms. Also pictures in frames are a nice memory for your friends and family. Out world is digitizing day by day. Put the old memory into the digitize thing is a cool idea. New ideas always make people happy. Just like digital photo frames, we never thought about that some years ago. When your family’s birthday comes, you give them that as a present. And then you can show all kinds of pictures in that. It saves wood frames. It saves space. But it can show you much more than you can imagine. And the price is pretty acceptable.

princess and abandoned baby girl

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in Society & Culture, life by jiajun925

When i was a kid, I saw there were many people going from far away place and begging for food.

I always heard that somebody found an abandoned baby girl in front of their house.

When I could remember something, I saw even there was one-child policy, some couple in the village would run away and hide in some place until they had a boy. Some time the local government send people over to the village to take their furniture away and break their house, but nothing could prevent the villager to stop having birth until they had a boy.

I did not see how useful boys are.

Human Growth Hormone

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in health, life, travel by jiajun925

Some years ago, I met some friends in Japan. They were couples who got married for some years. And they wanted baby very much. They tried hard to get a baby. Later they figure the problem out. The problem is that the husband every day was so much that in his ejaculation there were no so many powerful sperms. Another possible problem was that the society has began to industrialize so quickly and there was so much pollution in the air that the environment hormone, is becoming less and less, which has big affect on Human Growth Hormone. Maybe you do not hear about such topic before. Or it is difficult for you to talk about that with other people. I suggest you have a look of that. There is good information there.

when I was a kid, sometime I asked my mom about where I came from. She alway told me we picked you up in some end of the road.

When my mom was mad about me, she would say very bad thing about me and curse me to go back to that road.

splashed out water

I got my name before I was born. My name is a name for a boy. But I am girl. I think, after I was born, somebody must have been very disappointed.

When I was working in the field, even though their sons ran away from them, my father or mother would curse about why I was not a boy.

They say daughter is just water you splashed out.

(To be continued)

paint your dream

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in dream, life by jiajun925

Many people like drawing and painting very much. I did not learn drawing and painting so much. Because when I was in elementary school or middle school of China, there was no way for most of the kids to get any drawing tools. If we tried to touch the chalks, the teacher would scold us. At that time, even chalks were very expensive thing. So the even the teacher only used white chalk. There was not so much chance for us to see colorful chalks.
After I came to USA, I had chance to watch painting show of Bob Ross. It was so amazing and creative. I felt that beautiful painting would bring people to another world. When I have free time, I am going to try spyder guns. I am a cheap person. Besides cheap paintball guns, they also sell Tippmann, Spyder, Smart Parts, Dye, Empire, Draxxus paintball gear plus many more brands which you can find on our website. It seems to be a nice store.

when I was a kid — riddle about snail

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in Society & Culture, life, travel by jiajun925

when I was a kid, I could make the snail’s feelers come out and go back to its shell without touching it. It is a curse, it is a riddle. I really do not know why I could do that.

When I was in Japan, I tried that. It was efficaciousness too. I did that in local dialect. That was a little bit ridiculous. Even snail in Japan could understand Chinese dialect??

Maybe I can try that in USA too.

The MorningStar Academy

Posted on March 25th, 2008 in School, education, life by jiajun925

In China, a lot of kids stopped going to school without finishing elementary school. When I was in Beijing, I met a kid who stopped going to middle school. He told me his story. When he was in the school, he was really good at studying. He was number one in every subject. And some other kids who quit school tried to make him quit too. First just try to make him play with them together. And then they tried to beat up him. He had to protect for himself. One time, he beat up one of the kids very badly. But the group of kids kept bothering him. In the end, because of the fighting between them, the school made him quit school. After 2 years, the teacher in charge of the class asked him to go back to school, but his parents thought since he was already away from studying so long, it is no use to go back anymore. Another reason is that his parents could not afford the fees.
That is the thing happened in China. Even though the policy says that compulsory education is 9 years. The reality is that most of the kids in the countryside even did not finish going elementary school.
I was thinking if there is any other way to save the kids in China. Maybe I could introduce the MorningStar Academy to China. It deserves a try.
