When I was in middle school time, actually I watched some movies.  But sometime, people just got the same movie. Even though, every time, there were still a lot of villager watching that.

For example, 方世玉 (Fong Sai-yuk Wikipedia) . Maybe my memory was a little bit wrong. I thought I watched that when I was a middle school student.

When I was in middle school time, we had chances to watch movies. When somebody got married, or somebody had birth, or somebody became 60 years old, normal they would have a big party. In the party, all the family and their friends would come to congratulate them. At night, as one part of the party, people would go to a far away place (I did not know where it was) to borrow a hand cranked movie projector to show one or two movies.

Normal, it was shown outdoors. It means that it was some family’s backyard or front yard. All the people in the village came to watch it. Some kids even walked from far away to watch the movies. Of course, there were no seats!!! You had to bring your own chair, if you had an chair to bring. Otherwise, you had to stand in the back part of the crowds. Some time, when it suddenly rained, some people would stand there or sit there in the rain until the movie ended.
