I was one scolded for buying a frozen sucker when I was in elementary school.

One afternoon, the school organized all the pupils to go to the local cinema to watch revolution movie. Before we walked to the cinema, I thought, every teacher gave every class one lesson about that Do not buy anything from the road. Because we were the Young Pioneers (少先队员– the younger version of communist party ), if we buy something from the road, it would look bad for communist party.

For some reason, anyway I could not remember the lesson from the teacher. I bought a frozen sucker (冰棍) from the road.

When we went back, the teacher scolded me: you are bad Young Pioneers, you could not be good student, your will fail on your moral class…

I was so sad, I almost threw up with my whole stomach. If they wanted, they could suck out the water of the frozen sucker (冰棍) now.

Having a lot of money makes everybody happy. But how to deal with our money is a little bit annoying.

In our world we have credit card applications for Irish customers. What is the good thing of that? Of course, first we need not carry the cash. I forgot what kind of reason was, once I was locked in the storage. It was one of brother’s classmate. For one year, my brothers and I were in the same elementary school, of course, different grades.

Maybe between my brother and that kid, there was some argue, so the kid came to bully me.

After that, when I saw that kid, I was some kind of scared and I always tried to run away.

One day, I saw him, I ran to my brother’s classroom, and I cried out, “I want to go home, I want to go home”. And then the whole classroom laughed at me.

Many ladies like doing sewing and designed the house. I like that too. When I stay at home, sometime I just want to do sewing. When I am doing that, I could focus on that and forget everything else. It is one kind of way getting rid of stress. Beside that, the sweet thing is we can make the beautiful thing, design the house and make a new environment around us.

When I went to elementary school, totally there was one building there. Some time we still could see there were some soldiers doing training in the back yard, practicing of shooting. We went close to see them, then they made big sound to scare us.

After some days, or one term, the school had a decision to build another building in the backyard. Who were going to dig the hill down and make it flat to build a building. The pupils!!! = us!!

From that time, every week we had to go to do labor, digging the mountain. We also had to bring tools from home. Otherwise the teacher would say, otherwise the communist party would not let you join that. And the labor became the score of our sports class and moral class.

We want to work. We want jobs for making money for living. If we got a good salary job and we also feel happy working on that, it would be the best thing in our life.

How to choose a job is the start of how to get the job. Some time we do not know what we want, and do not know the job fits us or not. I was trained to do this and do that in China, so I really do not know what I really like. Before I graduated from University in China, I went to some job fairs. The recruiters from the company did not have so much reactions in their faces when 1000 people threw their resume in front of their desk just for the same position but with the same kind of resume, from which normally you could smell the strong smell of “I love communist, I can do anything that communist party wants me to do…” Really that is the thing happened in China some years ago. After I came to USA, The first thing I have to do is to find myself. I am happy that Kettering Stickman could help such kind of people, just like me. when I was in elementary school, we barely had something to read. If somebody had a magazine, everybody tried very hardly to become that people’s temporary friend just to make a chance to read the magazine.

Once I had the chance to keep the magazine for one week. But before the due, the kid wanted the magazine back. But I still did not finishing reading it. But the kid wanted the magazine back anyway because he/she already had the magazine reserved to some other kid.

I wanted to finish reading that, so I made a lie that I did not bring the magazine to school. The kid was mad, and said, Ok, if I found any hurt in my important magazine, I would let you pay for that.

I thought, maybe he was just kidding.

The next day, I gave the magazine back to him. He said he was not kidding even he could not find any hurt in the magazine.

He needed the money. of course How COULD i have money?!

I made another to my mom to get 0.20 RMB. That was a big money.

Financial aid scholarships  is a good thing for students. Why do I say that? When I was in China, I almost gave up going to school when I was university. You know, in China, even the government is talking about compulsory education for nine years. In the village, 90% of the kids went to be labor without finishing elementary school. When I went to University, I barely could live through the 4 years. I could not ask for money from my parents, because the fee for taking the train was even borrowed from other people. And in Chinese university, there was the name of scholarship which gave you about 100 RMB for a year.

I only had 5 years in elementary school. let me think about that now. Actually I there were something that I can still remember.

One time, we went to hiking. The place was the cave behind somebody’s house. It was a good time to enjoy the spring, I do not know why the teachers brought us into a cave.

It was a rock cave. You could see nothing without a light. We went into the cave even thought nobody knew what we were looking at.

Suddenly, there was noise from the entrance. The students in the line tail made that.　There was a hai storm. Strange, in my life, that’s my first to see that.

Adults told us later, there was a pig monster coming through that area.

Oysters are the best food in the world. When I was in Japan, I had oysters in many kinds of way. Most of the people like eating raw oysters, which you can think as one kind of sashimi. Also fried oysters are very delicious. Or you can put that into Japanese casserole. The people who ever had Oysters will never forget about that. So do I. But I had a little bit bitter culture experience. My professor likes eating Oysters very much. But the pronunciation of Oysters in Japanese is almost the same as the fruit Japanese persimmons. I liked both. Both are delicious. When the professor talked about the Oysters, I thought it was the fruits.

And another experience is that I was once feeling numb with my tongue in my friends’ house. That time we put Oysters into the Japanese casserole. Maybe because it was not cooked so well, I got kind of food poisoning.

But I want to tell you another thing. Everybody knows that human make pearl from Oysters. Ladies like pearl very much. But do you know the possibility of oysters offering objects beyond pearls.
