I tried hard to study English. The problem now is that it is difficult for me to understand bad English, especially the English that was spoken by Arabic people, Spanish people. Such people’s English always has too much retroflex consonant in their talk. It sounds like they are rolling a donkey in their mouths.

I know that USA  is a country that is made up of immigration people. Before I came, I thought all the people here must be elite. I dreamed that all the people here have standard English.

But not really, I still did not hear so much good English around. I have to get used to bad English.

when I was a little kid, Journey To The West (1986) was on TV. At that time, in my home, we had no TV. Even in the village there was no TV. So I had to walk to a far away place that was close to the city and had one black and white TV to watch Journey To The West.

In such time, I saw wonderful thing from the show. It was incredible to me that monkey king could fly and change himself to many kinds of thing. I had my dream from Journey To The West, and I was in exultation in the show and I was longing for seeing wonderful from the TV show. Even that was black and white.

When you do not have insurance in this country, sometime when we do not feel so good, we just go to the Pharmacy and buy some medicine randomly according to our feelings. In such case, the only helpful information we can get is to ask the Pharmacist in the store.

Moving is a big thing in our life. Until now I moved many times. I had moved many tims in China, Japan and USA. When I was a student in China, I did not have so much stuff. I just moved between the south and the north of China only with a small bag or small suit case. After I graduated, I moved to Japan still only with a suit case. When you were poor, it is easy to move. After we got our PH.D degree, we came back to USA. This time was bigger than all the moves I had before. I have family now. Before the move, we collected a lot of furniture from our family. The move company told us if we had a car, they even can do car shipping for us. That sounds great for us. We could save money.
